Amber Frid-Jimenez is an artist whose recent work addresses the intersection of art and AI. She is a Canada Research Chair in Art and Design Technology and Associate Professor at Emily Carr University. Frid-Jimenez leads the Design & Technology Team for Participedia in her role as the founding director of the Studio of Extensive Aesthetics. She earned an MS in media arts and sciences at the MIT Media Lab and a BA (honours) in philosophy and fine art at Wesleyan University.
