I work for residents' groups and for municipalities to promote social innovation in the fields of housing, welfare, care, energy and citizenship. I think public participation and democratic innovation are important for the future. I work as a volunteer and in paid assignments through the cooperative company ZeelandBruist.

Previously I worked for the provincial government in Zeeland (the Netherlands) in the fields of education, automation, quality assurance and climate adaptation. I have a Master Degree in Educational Science (Radboud University Nijmegen) and Post-Master in Information Technology Auditing and Advisory (Erasmus University Rotterdam).

ZeelandBruist initiated Dutch as the 8th language in Participedia.
